Self-portrait

Tess and i woke up at 6am and decided to go on an adventure, to give me some inspiration with my visual work. I looked on the train map and we came across Farningham, a small place, not really anything going on… but then we were there in the early hours of a sunday morning!!

These are the final pieces that i created for the group exhibition ‘And So We Are’ that was held at the Nucleus Art Gallery in Chatham, Kent, last year.

When ever i am in the car, or on the train i love nothing better than to put my ipod on and look out the window. I find it so satisfying and relaxing, a quiet moment to myself, but i’ve always loved the frame that the window gives as you look out, i remember wanting to take pictures of people driving their cars with the window framing them when i was 13! I finally did something about it in July when i was on a train journey to London, not portraits, but landscapes,
